Redruth School Celebrates A-Level Success with every student who wishes to going to the university of their choice.

We are delighted with the success of all our students who have taken post 16 courses at Redruth. There is an overall pass rate of 98.5% from all exam entries. Our value added score for students is very positive and we are still awaiting final results which we anticipate will only improve this further. Our parents and students are celebrating that every one of our students who wished to study at a university have gained a place at the university or college of their choice.
There are some notable successes including:

Sarah Morrish        AAB – Exeter (English)

Sam Madge         AAC – Exeter (Physics)

Kira Davies        Double Distinction * Distinction – Plymouth (Sports Coaching)

Courtney Bolt        BBB – Plymouth (Early Childhood Studies)

Niall Abrahams    ABB – Bath Spa (History)

Morgan  Abrahams     ABB – Leicester  (History)

At AS level the successes have been even more pronounced with record numbers of students obtaining excellent grades and a progress measure well above the national value added average. This bodes well for their results next year.

It is particularly pleasing that our students have yet again proved themselves to be successful with the hard work and support of everyone at the school.
